We discuss JWST and Chandra observations of OMC-2 & OMC-3. Protostellar magnetic fields mediate accretion and outflow, which determine the final mass of a forming star. There are 38 protostars (Flat Spectrum or below) in the regions that are covered by a 198-hour Cycle 3 JWST program, designed to map outflows out to pc scales and measure accretion and ice composition near Class 0 protostars with sub-arcsecond resolution. Chandra complements this data with 100 ks of cycle 1 data, which will be enhanced by a 450 ks series of observations planned for November of this year. These data will be used to trace the evolution of magnetic activity across the range of protostellar evolution and detect X-rays from shocks and outflows. Here, we provide a status update showing some NIRCAM imaging data in the context of the existing X-ray data.
