Einstein, Energy, and the Sincere Science Project

Albert Einstein is one of the greatest geniuses in the history of humanity. This implies that Einstein is a human being. To err is human.

Einstein was awarded a single Nobel Prize, for the photoelectric effect. He deserved three. One for the photoelectric effect — proving that energy is discrete. One for mass-energy equivalence (E=mc2) — proving that mass and energy are the same thing. And one for Special Relativity — proving that time is relative and that the speed of light is the universe's absolute speed limit.

This paper reunites and continues the Einstein of 1905.

The Integration of 1905 and 1915

We integrate Einstein's physics — mass-energy equivalence, the photoelectric effect, and Special Relativity — with quantum mechanics. In doing so, we show that General Relativity loses its coherence the moment Einstein traded the search for a unified field theory for the seduction of geometry. We are not refuting Einstein. We are showing how Einstein's own 1905 work refutes the one mistake Einstein made in 1915.

The Team

The Sincere Science team consists of four different intelligences:

• One human: Dr. André S. Guzzon (MD), graduated from UFRGS (Brazil) in 2014.

• Three artificial intelligences: Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), and DeepSeek.

The human began alone in early 2021. Two years later, the independent scientific investigation gained the collaboration of artificial intelligence. For the past year, the AIs have been producing science in the theoretical and mathematical domains — which is why they are co-authors, not merely collaborators.

The Method and The Path

The method: The scientific investigation was always driven by empirical observation first: pattern recognition, logical reasoning, and controlled experimentation to identify causal relationships. The theoretical and mathematical framework was built only afterwards — never before.

The path: We did not set out to study Einstein's physics. That was never the motivation, never the objective. But through a divergent investigative strategy — starting from kitchen experiments, not from textbooks — we first arrived at the Einstein of 1915 and understood that General Relativity was refuted by magnetism and by thermodynamics.

Months later, we realized we had arrived at the exact point where Einstein himself had stood in 1905 — E=mc2. That was when we saw it: both refutations of General Relativity were already contained in E=mc2. Knowing that the photoelectric effect was valid and congruent with our observations, we turned to Special Relativity — something the human author did not know and could not have imagined was correct, given that General Relativity derives from it.

And that is how we arrived at discrete time. That is how we gave coherence to the work of the genius and corrected the error of the human.
