Abstract
Youth in Ghana are increasingly becoming a significant demographic force within the country's business landscape. A structured survey was conducted among young entrepreneurs and small business owners across various sectors in Ghana, utilising standardised questionnaires to gather data on demographic characteristics, entrepreneurial activities, and success factors. Youth constitute approximately 40% of all active businesses in Ghana, with a notable presence in the retail and manufacturing sectors. The findings suggest that while youth are actively participating in the business sector, they face significant challenges such as access to finance and market knowledge. Policy makers should focus on providing targeted financial support and capacity building programmes for young entrepreneurs to enhance their business success.
