Abstract
Religious syncretism and cultural adaptation have been significant in African diaspora contexts, with Senegalese communities serving as a notable example. The analysis draws on ethnographic studies and community interviews to explore how Senegalese immigrants integrate their religious beliefs with local cultures in various Diaspora settings. The commentary underscores the importance of understanding religious syncretism as a mechanism for cultural resilience in Diaspora communities. Further research should focus on longitudinal studies to track changes in religious syncretism over generations within Senegalese diaspora settings.
