Twelve varieties belonging to three ecotypes — forest-steppe, steppe, and Western European — were studied. Mean trait values (x\u0304), variation limits (min–max), and breeding value (Sc) were determined. The highest productive tillering indices (2.0) were recorded in the varieties Zorepad Bilotserkivskyi and Fidelius. In terms of breeding value (Sc), the most promising variety identified was Znakhidka Odeska (Sc = 1.8). The findings of the study allow for the identification of the most stable and productive genotypes for further application in breeding programs aimed at developing new high-yielding winter wheat material.
