The dataset of "The rapid decline of fast radio bursts rate from CHIME/FRB Catalog 2"

This repository is for the paper 'The rapid decline of fast radio bursts rate from CHIME/FRB Catalog 2' by Xuandong Jia. It is associated with the manuscript number AAS73831.

The data.csv file lists all the fast radio burst data used in the manuscript. Columns 1 through 11 are compiled from the CHIME/FRB Catalog 2, detailed descriptions of these parameters can be found in the CHIME documentation. Columns 13, 12, and 14 -- denoted as z_50, z_16 and z_84 -- represent, respectively, the best-fit pseudo-redshift and its corresponding 1 sigma confidence interval derived using the method described in the manuscript. The final column, labeled red_redshit, refers to a pseudo-redshfit value sampled from the redshift probability distribution.
