Updates

  • Takes reproducible parallel RNG by specifying the seed argument to daemons() - introduced in mirai 2.4.1 - out of 'experimental' status.
  • Fixes http_config() defaults failing to authenticate for certain types of Posit Workbench installation (thanks @jjjermiah, #563 and @jeffvroom, #564). Uses the RStudio/Positron viewer pane as a fallback authentication method - this workaround will no longer be required in Posit Workbench 2026.04 and later.
