Artificial Intelligence in Music Composition and Production

Description

This article examines the role of artificial intelligence in the process of music composition and production. It explores the evolving relationship between human creativity and AI-based systems, analyzing their practical applications in compositional workflows, sound design, structural modeling, and production environments. The study discusses both the technological foundations of contemporary AI tools — including machine learning models and generative systems — and their aesthetic, philosophical, and authorship-related implications. Rather than treating artificial intelligence as a substitute for the composer, the article frames AI as an advanced cognitive and technological extension of the creative process. The text combines theoretical reflection with insights drawn from artistic practice in electroacoustic and electronically mediated music.
