Description
Local tourism plays a key role in the economy as it helps preserve traditions and historical places, while also offering people a reliable and long-term source of income. This method relies heavily on student participation to form a group of individuals who are passionate about protecting heritage about Bacoor’s history that should be easier to grasp and more interesting for both residents and visitors. The researchers used a quantitative-descriptive method and conducted a survey involving 100 students from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management program at St. Dominic College of Asia. The study found that using social media for marketing helps students promote Bacoor as a more popular tourist destination. The study highlights the importance of involving students in promoting local tourism, with a specific focus on Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines.
