Background: Bispectral index (BIS) monitoring represents a promising approach for optimizing anesthetic depth in pediatric cardiac surgery. This study evaluated the clinical efficacy of BIS monitoring during perioperative management of children undergoing congenital heart defect (CHD) correction.
