The Roadrunner Loop in Art History
Authors/Creators
Description
This paper introduces the “Roadrunner Loop” as a diagnostic framework for analysing modern and contemporary art history as a sequence of unresolved motion without arrival. Drawing on visual culture, institutional critique, and temporal theory, the paper examines how repeated aesthetic acceleration masks structural stagnation, producing cycles of exhaustion rather than progress. The work forms part of the broader Equilibrium Ledger research programme and is intended as a theoretical and diagnostic contribution rather than an empirical study.
