PREreview 2026-2029 Strategic Plan

PREreview works to bring more equity and transparency to scholarly peer review by supporting and empowering communities of researchers, particularly those at early stages of their career (ECRs) and who have been historically excluded, to review research objects such as preprints and datasets in a process that is rewarding to them.

This document presents PREreview's Strategic Plan over the course of three years, 2026-2029. The four goals are:

1. Expand our infrastructure for modular, discoverable, and integrated peer review
2. Grow a global, community-driven ecosystem for open peer review
3. Broaden participation for just knowledge systems
4. Amplify impact through shared leadership and sustainable growth
