El diseño del fracaso: Arquitectura institucional y colapso del Estado argentino
Authors/Creators
Description
This book presents a systemic and institutional analysis of the Argentine State from a design perspective. Rather than attributing institutional failure to individual corruption, ideological bias, or historical contingency, it examines how structural incentives, discretionary power, and weak accountability mechanisms produce stable patterns of dysfunction.
The work adopts an engineering-oriented framework, assuming ordinary and flawed human behavior as a baseline for institutional design. It explores selection mechanisms within political systems, the erosion of republican limits, the transformation of political parties into access barriers, and the role of the judiciary and bureaucracy as self-protective structures.
The book does not propose immediate policy solutions nor moral prescriptions. Its purpose is diagnostic: to map the architectural conditions under which institutional failure becomes a predictable and self-sustaining equilibrium.
