Title:
Artificial Intelligence in Astrophysics and Cosmology Education: Enhancement or Replacement of Human
Presenter:
Abd El Fady Morcos (National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics, Egypt)
Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing astrophysics and cosmology education through powerful data analysis, personalized learning, and immersive simulations. While AI enhances the learning experience and accelerates research, it cannot replace the vital human role of teachers. Educators provide context, inspiration, and emotional support—essential for teaching complex and conceptual topics. AI will serve as a valuable tool that complements, rather than replaces, the educator's role in guiding and mentoring students.
