SMARTNESS Studio 5G (SS5G) Inauguration

This slide deck was presented during the inauguration of the SMARTNESS Studio 5G (SS5G) laboratory on 3 December 2025 at UNICAMP, Brazil. The presentation provides an overview of the SMARTNESS Engineering Research Center (ERC) after 25% of its operation, including mission, technical progress, research achievements, organizational updates, and work package developments. It introduces the SS5G facilities, an Ericsson Private 5G Standalone indoor installation, and outlines its role in supporting advanced research, experimentation, and training activities. The deck also highlights collaboration between SMARTNESS 2030 and Ericsson’s Open Innovation Lab, as well as the strategic vision for future research, education, and innovation opportunities enabled by the SS5G infrastructure.
