D4.1 REQUIREMENTS AND ARCHITECTURE FOR CONFIDENTIAL NETWORKING

The current document constitutes the first version of the CONFIDENTIAL6G Requirements and architecture blueprint for confidential networking. It is meant to serve as a reference on necessary requirements for secure and confidential networking, data sharing and service and computation orchestration, leveraging on federated AI/ML to increase privacy-preserving by enabling scenarios in which data is kept in premise on the edge, while algorithms are brought to the data. Requirements analysed include long-term security, calling for post-quantum solutions, as well as computation power and bandwidth limitations.  It should be noted that as work progresses the requirements and architecture for confidential networking will be updated if and as necessary in the next work package (WP) 4 Deliverables.
