This article serves as a continuation of the treatise Time May Not Exist! (Brécheteau, 2025, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.17214502), delving deeper into the conceptualization of the Chronon Field (Φ). As an independent extension, it remains intrinsically connected to the core thesis of the project, while providing fundamental clarifications on the operationalization of the theory. The V1.0 version of this article refines the basic principles while maintaining the integrity of the original thesis, redefined not as a continuous flow but as a local, measurable pulse, codified through the local coherence frequency (Φ).
\nThe novelty of this approach lies in the interpretation of time as a rhythmic modulation, defining a local dynamic of reality rather than a mere external parameter. The Chronon Field, dimensionally the inverse of time (s\u207b¹), is conceived as an entity operating independently of any energy source, without altering the geometry of general relativity (GR), nor modifying light cones or energy-momentum tensors. It only reparameterizes observable durations and cadences, offering a rigorous framework for the study of local synchronization and quantum coherence through clock comparisons and synchronization networks.
\nThis article formalizes a weak-field dictionary linking variations of Φ to gravitational shifts, while proposing an empirical interpretation through dimensional residue—a measured deviation between observation and the general relativity model. This work establishes a falsifiable experimental pipeline (P1–P4) that covers areas ranging from atomic clocks, entangled qubits, long baselines, and cognition, with explicit null tests and validation criteria.
\nThe article also advances the reflection on the foundations of rhythm physics, paving the way for upcoming works in the series (2025–2026), particularly the forthcoming book Ontology of Rhythm: Towards a Post-Classical Metaphysics, which will offer an ontological interpretation of rhythm in the world.
