A screened time-drag scalar field: percent-level late-time growth and the cosmic radio dipole excess
Authors/Creators
Description
This repository contains the full LaTeX source, figures, and appendices for a minimal screened scalar–tensor model that modifies late-time structure formation at the percent level while preserving the exact ΛCDM background expansion.
The model introduces a density-dependent kinetic term (“time-drag”) that yields both (i) a ∼1% enhancement of the linear growth rate at low redshift and (ii) a non-kinematic contribution to the cosmic radio/mid-infrared dipole, naturally aligned with the CMB dipole and consistent with recent observations.
The archive includes the main 7-page manuscript, 2 figures, and 4 technical appendices detailing the k-essence completion, gravitational slip, derivation of the background scaling, and thermodynamic interpretation. All files are provided in a clean, reproducible format suitable for peer review and long-term citation.
