Description

The GHRSST Outline of Training Plan was finalised in 2023, following a plenary panel discussion involving GHRSST Science Team members, the GHRSST Project Office and EUMETSAT, during the 23rd GHRSST science team meeting held in Barcelona and online. The panel, together with the GHRSST science team, focused on the experiences and future needs of GHRSST training, including for the wider user community of satellite-derived SST. 

The GHRSST Outline of Training Plan details the key inputs of the discussion, including the chosen format and target audience of the trainings. Four modules are defined, each with specific objectives, target audience, duration, contents, format, training materials, long-term impacts and potential implementation plan for 2023/2024.
