Türkiye'de Transhümanizm ve Posthümanizm Konulu Tezlerin Bibliyometrik Analizi

This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of theses prepared on the topics of transhumanism and posthumanism in the field of social sciences. In the study, a search conducted on November 11, 2025, in the Higher Education Council National Thesis Center database resulted in 784 theses. After excluding duplicates, irrelevant theses, and theses conducted at universities in different countries, a total of 288 theses were included in the study. The theses were evaluated according to the year of publication, language, type, city where the university is located, and subject. The findings show that there has been interest in the topics of transhumanism and posthumanism since 2003. Academic interest has increased even more, especially since 2020. Master's theses constitute 67.7% of the theses. The language of 58% of the theses is Turkish. Thesis topics are mostly concentrated in the fields of language, literature, and art. There are few studies in the fields of science and medicine.
