>This dataset is the updated results of the workpackage 5.2 land-use scenarios for the Natura Connect project. >Each Scenario (Nature for Nature, Nature for Society, and Nature as Culture) contains four region folders (East, North, South, West). Within each region folder you will find a set of asci files, titled cov_all.#.asc. The # refers to the timestep, so cov_all.0.asc is the map for our starting year 2020, and cov_all.30.asc is our final map for the year 2050. >A legend is included for visualizing the results in QGIS. >The land system classification is represented as follows: Land system class numeric code Low-density rural settlement 0 Medium-density peri-urban settlement 1 High-density urban settlement 2 Wetlands 3 Forest, shrub and cropland mosaics 4 Forest, shrub and grassland mosaic 5 Low-intensity arable cropland 6 Medium-intensity arable cropland 7 High-intensity arable cropland 8 Low-intensity grasslands 9 Medium-intensity grasslands 10 High-intensity grasslands 11 Permanent crops 12 Close-to-nature forestry + Primary forest 13 Combined objective forestry 14 Intensive forestry + very intensive forestry 15 >The pdf document titled "SSP1 and NFF documentation" describes how the baseline and the scenarios were constructed, as well as the logic and the data behind these choices. >The pdf document titled "WP5 NFF Results" presents an exploration of the NFF scenario outcomes, including map subsets to explore the different storyline land-use patterns, land use change maps, and probability transition tables.
