Academia meets industry events

The objective of Work Package 5 (WP5) is to present the PRISMAP portfolio and facilitate networking. To achieve this, key tasks were identified: encouraging the production of radionuclides and promoting their use in translational research within industry and clinics, and bringing together the PRISMAP consortium with all sectors of the industrial and clinical landscape in nuclear medicine. To this end, three main approaches have been implemented:

The first major step was the ‘PRISMAP Academia meets Industry (PRISMAP experience)’ event, was organised during the ISTR-2023.

The second crucial component of industrial engagement is achieved through PRISMAP's specialised boards: the Industrial Board (IB), the User Selection Panel (USP), and the External Expert Advisory Board (EEAB), which collectively enable valuable collaborations.

Finally, collaboration with industry and clinical partners is fostered through various public events, round-table discussions, and industry meetings held during Consortium Meetings (CM). These events were significant parts of CM5, CM6, CM7, and CM8, specifically aimed at collaborating with stakeholders in the radiopharmaceutical industry.
