Description

Holcocerus didmanidzeae Yakovlev, 2006

(Figs 10–11)

Holcocerus didmanidzae: Yakovlev 2006: 14, fig. 5, pl.1 (fig. 10) (♂)

Material examined. GEORGIA • 1♂; Dedoplistskaro Mun., Vashlovani NP.; leg. E. Didmanidze; 29 June 1973; SJMG 1♂; Prov. Tiflis, Distr. Gori, Pag. Bakuriani; leg. V. Kozlovski; 27 July 1917; SJMG.

Remarks. The species was originally named Holcocerus didmanidzae Yakovlev, 2006, in honour of Georgian lepidopterologist Eter Didmanidze. However, the original paper does not justify the choice of the specific name ending; therefore, we correct it here. The species is currently known from Vashlovani National Park only (Fig. 45). Its biology remains unknown.
