Children in Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi (PPKI) classrooms often face visual challenges that affect their ability to access learning materials. Existing teaching resources may not always meet their visual needs, especially in terms of font size, contrast, layout, and visibility. This checklist was developed to provide teachers with structured, evidence-based guidance to make classroom environments and teaching aids more visually inclusive.
\nThe VISuAL for PPKI checklist is designed to help teachers and schools prepare teaching resources that are inclusive and visually supportive, ensuring that all children, especially those with visual difficulties can participate effectively in classroom learning.
\nVISuAL for PPKI represents an innovative, research-driven solution to support inclusive education in Malaysia. By aligning classroom practices with the visual needs of children, it contributes towards improving learning outcomes and promoting educational equity in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health & Well-being) and Goal 4 (Quality Education).
