1. RESIST Fostering Queer Feminist Intersectional Resistances against Transnational Anti-Gender Politics

Stefanie Boulila presented the results of the German case study at a public lecture organised as part of the 16 Days against Violence against Women. The event was titled "Antifeministische und queerfeindliche Anfeindungen als Gefahr für die Demokratie" (“Anti-feminist and anti-queer hostility as a threat to democracy”) and took place in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany).

Impact on affected individuals and communities

How do feminists and queer people experience anti-feminism and queerphobia in Germany? And how is it resisted individually and in an organized way? These were the questions that the international study of the EU research project RESIST examined in eight countries. As part of the event, Stefanie Boulila and Nadja Hutmacher (RESIST research project) will present their research results. In an exchange with Len Schmid (Mobirex Department) and Rebekka Blum (sociologist), we will then discuss this with the audience.

Antifeministische und queerfeindliche Anfeindungen als Gefahr für die Demokratie

Auswirkungen auf betroffene Personen und Communities

Wie erleben Feminist*innen und queere Menschen Antifeminismus und Queerfeindlichkeit in Deutschland? Und wie wird dagegen individuell und organisiert Widerstand geleistet? Das waren die Fragen, die die internationale Studie des EU Forschungsprojekts RESIST in acht Ländern untersuchte. Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung werden Stefanie Boulila und Nadja Hutmacher (Forschungsprojekt RESIST) ihre Forschungsergebnisse vorstellen. Im Austausch mit Len Schmid (Fachstelle Mobirex) und Rebekka Blum (Soziologin) werden wir darüber anschließend mit dem Publikum diskutieren.
