From Silos to Synergies: Implementing a DTS API in DraCor

  • 1. ROR icon University of Potsdam

Description

This poster presented at the CLARIN Annual Conference 2025 in Vienna reports on the integration of the standard API specification DTS (Distributed Text Services) into DraCor, a community-driven platform for drama corpora. By implementing DTS, DraCor enhances the accessibility and usability of its extensive repository of over 4,400 theatre plays across 28 literary corpora in more than 22 languages. The DTS API provides fine-granular access to textual data, improved citability, and advanced structural analysis capabilities, fostering interoperability and collaboration in digital humanities research. This work is part of the OSCARS-funded DraCorOS project, which aims to connect the DraCor ecosystem to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
