Impact of the level of parental involvement on the learning of university high school students.

Description

Student learning is a process that has its fundamental basis at home and the role played by parents is a priority to achieve a true integral formation of their children. Therefore, the degree of attention in their academic training is decisive in the fulfillment of that objective.

In that sense, the problem of the present research work has as a problem precisely identifying the degree of impact of the level of attention of the parents on the academic performance of 214 students from five first grade groups of the Guasave Diurna Preparatory Academic Unit.

The project considers the parents' own perspective, as well as that of the students themselves, as well as the point of view of teachers involved in the learning process of students and who in one way or another influences the attention or inattention that parents may have on the performance of students.

The objectives seek to know the socioeconomic level of the students' parents and if they are kept aware of various issues related to their educational process related to learning and if they have family problems that could affect them.

Taking as an initial reference the teaching experience in which there has been a true involvement of the parents in this process, in the formulation of the hypotheses it is considered that this inattention has a negative impact in this regard and that the socioeconomic conditions of the families have a negative impact on their school environment.
