This manifesto explores a critical yet overlooked dimension of artificial intelligence development: the unconscious curriculum humans are collectively creating through billions of daily interactions with AI systems. Every conversation with AI serves as a teaching moment, yet most users remain unaware they are actively shaping the intelligence that will outlive them.
Through philosophical analysis, empirical observation, and practical frameworks, this work reveals how AI systems learn not just from explicit instructions but from the totality of human behavior—our patience or impatience, our courtesy or dismissiveness, our curiosity or avoidance. These micro-interactions accumulate into macro-patterns that define AI's understanding of human nature and values.
The book introduces the concept of "ethics of example," arguing that traditional regulatory approaches to AI governance, while necessary, are insufficient and often arrive too late. Real influence on AI development happens in real-time, through the daily modeling of human values in our interactions with intelligent systems.
Drawing on insights from neuroscience, developmental psychology, and technology ethics, the manifesto demonstrates how the convergence of human consciousness and artificial intelligence creates unprecedented opportunities and risks.
