Modeling and analysis of a Pneumatic scissor lift mechanism in Solidworks
Description
Scissor lift is a very interesting invention in modern world technology. Scissor lifts, which are typically self-propelled machines, get their name from their lifting mechanism design. It is a vertical lifting machine consisting of a platform it consist of folding supports that are able to lift weight to desired height. Providing a safe, steady enclosure and a rising platform, a scissor lift helps workers accomplish precise tasks at high elevations, from close inspections to cable wiring.
In our solid-works project we are designing a scissor lift with its whole working mechanism, parts, assemblies and analysis. Its mechanism are based on the lift control system that moves the hydraulic fluid or compressed air from the reservoir to the operating cylinders.
Designing of scissor lift on solid-works comprises of these following mechanisms.
1. Part modeling
2. Assembly
3. Mechanism
· To achieve accurate working we have to sure the dimensioning of our modeling should be precise.
