Gazetteer for Sturnira aratathomasi

This file contains a gazetteer for Sturnira aratathomasi in the Americas, to be published in Therya Notes. This material is related to the article entitled "The giant returns: Rediscovery of the largest yellow-shouldered bat in the world," authored by Marco A. Rodríguez-Segovia and Anita Pilatasig. This material also includes morphometric measurements and unpublished photographs of specimen QCAZ 7725. The morphometric data can be processed using the R package MorphoTools2. Version 1.2.2025 corrects a typographical error found in Version 1.1.2025 concerning the FMNH specimen as recorded in this dataset.
