THE AFRASIAB WALL PAINTING — A UNIQUE HISTORICAL SOURCE OF UZBEK VISUAL ART

This article explores the artistic, cultural, and historical significance of the ancient wall painting discovered at the Afrasiab archaeological site in Samarkand. The study analyzes the composition, figures, iconographic elements, and their reflection of diplomatic life in 7th-century Central Asia.
