GEOSPACE Geospatial Metadata Catalog v1.2.0

This archive documents a comprehensive catalog of geospatial datasets curated for environmental modeling, ecological analysis, and human impact assessment across the continental United States (CONUS). The catalog currently provides complete metadata and processing capabilities for 35 variables from the following data sources:

MODIS Satellite Data (4 variables)

• Land surface temperature, vegetation indices (NDVI, EVI), and forest cover
• Terra/Aqua satellites with 250m-1km resolution
• Daily to annual temporal coverage

ECMWF ERA5 Reanalysis (14 variables)

• Temperature, precipitation, pressure, humidity, wind components, and atmospheric parameters
• 31km resolution with hourly temporal coverage from 1940-present
• Comprehensive atmospheric variables for climate analysis

GridMET Meteorological Data (17 variables)

• Climate variables, fire weather indices, drought indicators, and evapotranspiration
• High-resolution 4km daily data from 1979-present
• Specialized datasets for fire weather and agricultural applications
