Academic Stress, Academic Conflict, And Academic Pressure of Senior High School Students in Private Schools of Sta. Rosa, Laguna

Description

Senior high school is a critical period with heightened academic demands. This study examined academic stress, conflict, and pressure among 80 senior high school students from private schools in Sta. Rosa, Laguna using a descriptive-correlational design. Results showed high levels of all three variables, driven by competitive environments, challenging curricula, and high expectations. Significant positive correlations were found: academic stress with conflict (r = 0.554) and pressure (r = 0.503), and a strong link between conflict and pressure (r = 0.632). These findings highlight the need for targeted support systems and interventions to reduce pressure and enhance student well-being.
