COGNITIVE ANALYSIS OF ANTONYMS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES
Description
This study examines the cognitive mechanisms underlying antonymic relationships in English and Uzbek languages, exploring how speakers of these linguistically distinct languages conceptualize and process semantic opposition. Through a comparative analysis of lexical structures, cultural influences, and cognitive patterns, this research reveals both universal principles and language-specific variations in antonymic processing. The findings contribute to our understanding of how different linguistic systems organize oppositional meaning and the cognitive implications of cross-linguistic variation in semantic relationships.
