The Fifth Fundamental Interaction: A Self‐Consistent "Semantic Field" Hypothesis and Its Coupling to the Known Four Forces

Description

The Fifth Fundamental Interaction: A Self‐Consistent "Semantic Field" Hypothesis and Its Coupling to the Known Four Forces
Version 1.0 – Initial Public Release

We propose a novel fifth fundamental interaction — the semantic field (ϕₛₑₘ) — which operates alongside gravity, electromagnetism, the weak, and the strong nuclear forces. Rooted in psychoacoustic theory and biological response, this interaction couples meaning-infused energy (quantified via weighted acoustic power and affective parameters) to biological systems. A key coupling strength parameter (λₛₑₘ) is introduced to bridge semantic energy and biological activation energy (ϕ_bᵢₒ), forming a testable model of semantic-bio coupling. This hypothesis challenges the completeness of the Standard Model and opens a new paradigm in physics by treating meaning as an energetically effective, experimentally measurable field. The theoretical construct is supported by precedent studies on vibrational effects on biological matter and is designed to be testable via semantic stimulation of plant growth.
