Description

This report summarizes the results of the Community of Practice (CoP) needs assessment within the Horizon Europe project INSPIRE. The CoP needs assessment questionnaire was carried out in Knowledge and Support Hub (KSH) 1: Sustaining and Deepening Change, KSH2: Widening Participation, and KSH3: Intersectionality in January 2024. The results will feed into the design of the support packages and be taken up by the KSHs and CoP facilitators.

Almost all CoPs report needs in the area of CoP work, such as resources and tools for improving the CoP dynamic and its results. Support in how to do intersectional analysis and evaluation of institutional gender equality policies, as well as in integrating the sex/gender dimension in research & teaching was also requested by 7 out of the 9 CoPs. 6 CoPs are interested in support in implementing inclusive gender equality plans, as well as strategies how to overcome obstacles and resistances.

Regarding the needs in relation to the Support Packages, it became clear that Support Package 4, which deals with Sustaining & Deepening Change, is of great interest, as it was selected by all nine CoPs. This is followed by Support Package 3 "Impact Booster", which was selected by 7 out of 9 CoPs.
