This dataset contains the data of our paper (preprint version, link to reviewed version to come) on mainland Afrotropical Eucerotinae wasps. It includes data on the specimens examined and on CO1 barcode sequences of eucerotines. It also includes the updated data matrix of eucerotine character traits of Gauld and Wahl (2002).

In this data, our new species has been written as Euceros species 1. The final published name can be obtained from the published article (and may also be updated to a new version of this dataset after publication of the article).
