Safeguarding the future of society publishing - All charts

Between November 2024 and January 2025, 66 society publishers contributed to an international survey covering current publishing practices, income trends, future strategies (including open access and AI impacts), and partnership relationships. The results of this survey, along with an interactive workshop, were written up into a white paper, related to this upload, titled ‘Safeguarding the future of society publishing’.

The current PowerPoint is a supporting document to the white paper, and presents additional charts from the survey results, beyond those presented in the paper. 

To protect respondent privacy and in accordance with our data collection commitments, the raw data behind these results will not be published. Participants were assured that their individual responses would remain confidential and would only be analysed in aggregate form. This approach allows us to honour our privacy commitments while still sharing meaningful insights derived from the collective data. 

The white paper and these supplementary charts were produced by Research Consulting with support from Copyright Clearance Center (CCC).
