Description
Berginus tamarisci Wollaston, 1854 in the fauna of Poland (Coleoptera: Mycetophagidae).
The first detailed records of B. tamarisci are reported from Poland. The species was collected at three sites in Wrocław and its vicinity in 2024 and 2025. In 2025, the species was found in relatively large numbers on a pile of dead branches, with numerous dead individuals of mistletoe Viscum album, the plant on which the species is supposed to develop.
