Description

Abstract and dataset contents:

This dataset contains 1-minute averaged measurements of dry-air ozone mole fraction (ppb) obtained using a dual-beam ozone monitor (Model 205, 2B Technologies). The instrument determines ozone concentration via UV absorption through two optical absorption cells with quartz windows. Measurements were conducted behind a Teflon© inlet line at Narsaq International Research Station (NIRS), centrally located in Narsaq, Southern Greenland (lat: 60.9157503°, lon: -46.0533263°, alt: 17 m above sea level), during the Greenfjord campaign in June-August 2023.

Metadata is provided in the file ‘metadata_ozone.doc’. Briefly, this dataset file ‘Lv2_Ozone.csv’ includes:

  1. Datetime
  2. Dry air mixing ratio of ozone in ppb
  3. Pollution flag to inform data user when short-lived spikes can be found in the data from local anthropogenic pollution
