Description
Our work investigated the outreach environment surrounding Open Science in different international settings. We identified barriers for promotion of Open Science and possible mitigations for these. An initial list of available resources related to outreach in Open Science was also compiled. We additionally conducted a pilot survey on the outreach environment of Open Science, finding that our predicted barriers may be a reality to responders. Finally, we reflected on our experience of providing outreach services to Open Science promoters participating in the 2025 Open Science Retreat.
