This document lays the foundations for future discussions within the FOREST (Forum for European Strategy on ICT Standards) committee established by StandICT.eu 2026. The mission of FOREST is to derive for decision makers at the European level a set of focused suggestions and recommendations regarding technology and standardisation for the most urgent challenges in
technology domains that are crucial for Europe’s future.
