Creative Legacy of Mirza Shafi Vazeh

In the article, the author mainly focuses on controversial issues related to the poet's life and work. 
Among the moments that cause different interpretations among researchers, the following stand out: 
 Vazeh  religion – clergy 
 authorship of Vazeh and Bodenstedt 
 songs  humoresques – prose 
Based on the historical and ethnographic book of memoirs of Friedrich Martin, the poet is character-
ized as a champion of the dissemination of Eastern wisdom among foreign students. Here are Ger-
mans and Englishmen studying Arabic, Farsi, whom the poet, as a capable teacher, teaches a special 
way of thinking. In this matter, his handwritten notebook "Keys to Wisdom" is of help. The artistic 
examples presented here help them to form their own statements. In the author's confrontation re-
garding the collection of poems and songs of Mirza Shafi published in Germany, the author adheres 
to the opinion of those researchers who clearly prove the far-fetched nature of the situation.
