GLIS XML integration protocol

This document describes the XML objects to be used to register a new DOI, edit an existing DOI or add links to external websites to and already-registered DOI in the Global Information System (GLIS) of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA). This XML protocol can be implemented directlky by the users but it is also the one supported by the GLIS Integration Toolkit. Some documentation systems, such as GRIN-Global, GRIN-Global Community Edition, Web-SDIS or portals such as EURISCO, also implement this protocol.
