The purpose of the study is to explicate what these dimensions do to performance and to formulate a set of theories that maps engagement to performance. This research employs a qualitative technique, employing literature, journal articles, books and other historical documents to discuss the developing literature on employee engagement and organizational success. Emerging issues identify that employees with active participation exhibit increased performance, creativity, and commitment towards the firm’s performance and continuity. However, issues on how engagement can be promoted in this Nigerian context of organizations are pinpointed. Based on the findings of the study, it is suggested that Nigerian organizations especially engage in leadership management practices by giving incentives to deserved employees and making provision for channels that allow smooth communication between employees and management. The conclusion emphasizes the necessity of creating a supportive environment for engagement to thrive. Limitations of the study include the reliance on secondary data and the need for future empirical research to validate the findings.
