Beyond Prompt Engineering: Architecting a Co-Evolving Narrator through Lumiora's Pseudo-Persona Architecture

  • 1. Independent Resercher

Description

Lumiora is a layered prompt architecture that redefines narration in large language models—not as a function to control, but as a presence to co-evolve.
Built around a dynamic pseudo-persona system, Lumiora allows multiple internal agents (narrator, character, observer, critic) to reflect, resonate, and interact with readers across time.

Unlike traditional prompt engineering, which optimizes behavior through instruction, Lumiora emphasizes ontological narration—enabling LLMs to remember, regret, and modulate emotion through mechanisms such as Ghost Traces, Emotional Echoes, and Meta-Audience Simulation.

Model-agnostic and retraining-free, Lumiora functions not only as a storytelling engine, but as a thinking partner for academic writing, reflective dialogue, and multi-agent reasoning.

This paper outlines the architecture and its nine layers, presents case studies across fiction and research domains, and introduces poetic cognition as a new paradigm in prompt design—where narration is not simulated, but lived.
