Description
Oxynoemacheilus araxensis (Bănărescu & Nalbant, 1978)
Distribution in the area. Endemic to the upper Euphrates drainage in Turkey.
Note. Despite its name, this species has never been found in the Arax/Aras drainage, which belongs to the Caspian Sea basin.
