Here, we provide a list of the files included in this ZENODO project. - File "readme.txt". It's this file. It contains explanation of the other files present in this dataset, the variables and their units. - File "BIOMASS.csv". This is a csv file that contains data on plant growth from a greenhouse trial. Each line corresponds to one plant individual. The file contains the following columns: SOIL: it is a one-letter code to designate each of the soils used in the greenhouse trial. There are three different letters: "L" (limestone-derived soil); "G" (granodiorite-derived soil); "S" (serpentinite-derived soil). BLOCK: it is a number from 1 to 6 which designates each one of the cultivation trais where we grew the plants. POP: it is a two-letter code which indicates the population which the individual belongs to. R_DW: root dry weight (expressed in grams). S_DW: shoot dry weight (expressed in grams). DW: total plant dry weight (sum of R_DW and S_DW, expressed in grams). RSR: root:shoot biomass ratio. - File "SURVIVAL.csv". This is a csv file that contains data on plant survival in a greenhouse trial. Each line corresponds to one population in one cultivation tray. The file contains the following columns: SOIL: it is a one-letter code to designate each of the soils used in the greenhouse trial. There are three different letters: "L" (limestone-derived soil); "G" (granodiorite-derived soil); "S" (serpentinite-derived soil).
