Description
The Environmental Data Science Innovation & Inclusion Lab (ESIIL) Education Program, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), is an annual initiative aimed at building environmental data science skills and training the next generation of data-capable professionals. The program consists of the ESIIL Stars Program and the ESIIL Data Short Course, the latter of which is the focus of this report. This evaluation assesses the impact of the first ESIIL Short Course on participants' learning, skill development, confidence, and career goals.
