CAELESTIS D5.1 UQ&M strategy for product and manufacturing

Description

In the WP4, different deterministic high-fidelity digital twins of
the manufacturing processes of the OGV have been developed to
model and to simulate the physics of the AFP, the RTM, the L-PBF
and the assembly processes. The deterministic simulations of the
different steps of the processes were realized for the nominal
configurations of the product / processes parameters. However,
some of these parameters are uncertain in the real workshop
environment. So, to be close to the real processes and materials,
with their own variabilities, uncertainty quantification and
propagation strategies must be defined and integrated in the
numerical workflow. To ensure the uncertainty propagation in
the different deterministic processes simulations and digital
twins, several “state of the art” methods have been selected in
function of the stochastic complexity of the deterministic models
and simulations and of the computational times.
